I knew I wanted to work with my voice since I recorded over all my Dad's reel to reel tapes narrating Dr. Seuss books as a kid.
While obtaining a Speech/Theatre BA, a songwriting submission got me a job on legendary Music Row in Nashville. I wrote, performed, and published original music in Nashville at 19, but returned home and started a career in broadcasting when the opportunity to go to my hometown Top 40 station WHOT in Youngstown, Ohio arose.
My first programming position was with the ABC radio network: Z Rock in 1993. There were 5 new rock formatted stations in Detroit, so I created the format Classic Rock That Really Rocks in Detroit 1996 and woo'd rock legend Ted Nugent to be our morning host. We created 102.7 The Bear and it was very successful.
In 2000 I was hired by AM/FM Inc. to be Regional Vice President Of Programming for the New England region. In 2003 I accepted the Ops Manager position at DC 101 in Washington. Working closely with the uber talented Elliot Segal, we took DC 101 to # 1 in the ratings. I was promoted to National Director Of Rock Programming and Ops Manager of I Heart Media's Denver Cluster in 2005 and I continued in a similar role until July 2016 when I left to pursue Voice Over Acting Full Time.
I am currently on IHR stations as one of the rock, alt, news talk promo voices. I've narrated a number of audio books on Audible, mostly on the subjects of travel and self help. Versatility is important so I’ve done some Voice Acting for a Red Sun Rising Music Video, Corporate Narration, and Character Animation. I take Improv Classes in Denver weekly and also act in feature movies for films in Colorado. Including the productions “Mute Beauts, Seven Deadly Sins, and Dearest Til Death.” I host live fund raising events for the Stout Street Foundation in Denver: My favorite charity that helps people get back on track in their lives after facing addiction.
I love what I do and I look forward to working passionately and authentically with your company to create your vision with my acting.
